The Cuisinart Velocity Ultra Blender features a razor sharp stainless steel blade and a tight-seal lid that doesn't let any blended liquid splash out of the jug. The jug itself has a generous 1.5L capacity and is made of highly durable, BPA-free Tritan plastic.  

The blender has three manual settings - low, high and pulse - as well as pre-programmed smoothing blending and ice crushing functions.
